March 1, 2012 - More Mobile Platforms - Windows Phone 7, Blackberry Playbook

March 1, 2012 - Digital Construction is thrilled to announce that in the last month through client work we have expanded our mobile platform reach past the Android Play Store. It is nothing new that we succesfully released another App to the Android Market. What is new is that we are now official Blackberry partners and have had an App approved and released into Blackberry App World. It is an Android port to the Blackberry Playbook tablet. This partnership comes on the heels of our CES (Consumer Electronics Show) meetings with Blackberry.

At CES, we also met with Nokia, and have been welcomed as an exclusive partner into the Nokia family. DHL shipments of prototype phones from Finland have become a regular routine, and this past month we worked with a client on a Windows Phone 7 product. That product was accepted into the Windows Marketplace via AppHub, after we successfully parsed and updated the App to meet all of the WP7 guidelines.

"I believe that Android will continue to be our predominant focus, but developing for other mobile platforms has allowed us to improve our Android development by showing us different paradigms. This new foray also allows us to better serve our clients. I believe that neither of these two new platforms will steal market share from Android, but am excited to work with them nonetheless." said Mark Scheel, President of Digital Construction.

Mark Scheel is signed on to speak at the upcoming RESO meeting in Chicago in April. Digital Construction is becoming a charter member of the Real Estate Standards Organization.
