September 1, 2011 - Mark Scheel has hit the road recently to
talk Android. In late August Mark traveled to New York
City to the Chelsea Google Office. There a collaborative
workshop called the Android Developer Lab was conducted.
Google employees and industry programmers shared Honeycomb
tablet development experiences. Mark presented between
Comcast Xfinity and Intuit.
Mark will be in Boulder to discuss making Android apps as
beautiful as iOS apps with custom UI controls. Mark will
be the headlining speaker at the monthly Boulder Android meeting
in Boulder, Colorado this September 7, 2011.
Mark will also be in Chicago later this month to host a
programming contest for the RESO organization that oversees
RETS, a data transaction for the real estate industry.
This event takes place at the NAR headquarters in downtown
Chicago on September 29, 2011.
Special thanks to Romain Urik, the author of the Google IO 2011
Scheduling App for his keen insights on UI design and help with
a specific camera cropping issue on some Android devices, as
well as Dan Galpin, the highly entertaining "Evading Pirates and
Stopping Vampires" speaker from Google IO 2011 for his help with
an ADC / Windows / Eclipse problem.
Mark recently completed the tough mudder at Copper, CO, and the
Steamboat Triathlon in Steamboat Springs, CO. No challenge
is too small! Need help with an Android project?
