April 1, 2011 - Mark Scheel and Digital Construction have put
the finishing touches on an enterprise system for a promising
company dedicated to Real Estate Investors. The system
automatically pulls real estate related data including listings
and photographs. It includes scheduling software,
acquisition software, RETS interface software and database
software.
The system interfaces with the premier Multiple Listing Service in the Rocky Mountains.
"Getting Real Estate data can be tricky with compliance issues, sensitive data sources, and the complicated vagaries of the Real Estate Transaction Standard, but with years of experience working in the industry, this kind of project has become a favorite task. A new server interface was forced on us, and it was problematic, but we worked with vendors to work the issues out and completed the project on a budget and schedule that thrilled our client" said Mark Scheel.
"We loved working with Mark, this project would not have happened without him, we looked nationally for a resource to help us and found the best option was in our back yard, we couldn't be happier with the work performed" said the managing partner of the upstart company.
Digital Construction and the start-up have signed a maintenance contract through 2012 to handle all data changes and as well as necessary changes made by the RESO governance body.
Digital Construction provides real estate data aggregation services to the industry and has helped brokerages, multiple listing services, industry vendors and agents simplify the complicated process of data aggregation.
Mark is currently working on product software best described as a cloud based solution to the industry problem of data aggregation with mobile (phone, tablet) components. This software should be unveiled later this year. A reminder that Mark will be at Google I/O next month and will soon be writing about the experience for a popular industry web site. Mark will be in Chicago this month for the semi-annual RESO meeting.
